- Undergraduate WAEC/WASSCE: Successful completion → Foundation at Nottingham Trent International College (NTIC). Average Grade B → International Year One at NTIC. International Foundation: Can lead to Year 1 Bachelor’s entry, based on UCAS Tariff points. HND: Exceptional grades may be considered for advanced undergraduate entry. Bridge House Foundation: Accepted; students should contact NTU for details. Postgraduate Bachelor’s (Honours): 2:1: GPA 2.9/4 or 3.5/5 2:2: GPA 2.5/4 or 2.8/5 Medical/Pharmacy Bachelor’s: Pass may be accepted for NTU Master’s. MA Education: Third-class Bachelor’s may be considered. Master’s (Upper Second): Eligible for PhD research degrees. English Language WAEC/NECO: Grade C6 or 6 accepted, with scratch card/token. Students who don't meet the requirement may need pre-sessional English (PEAP).

- NTU English Requirements IELTS Academic: Generally 6.0–6.5 depending on the course. Most courses require 6.5 with 5.5 in each component. Higher requirements: Journalism, Social Work, Nursing and Occupational Therapy may require IELTS 7.0 or higher. TOEFL iBT: Accepted, including Home Edition. For IELTS 6.5 equivalent, tests taken before 21 Jan 2026: 81 overall; tests taken after 21 Jan 2026: 4.5 overall with minimum 4.0 in each component. PTE Academic: Generally 62 for IELTS 6.5 equivalent, with no component below 59. PTE Academic Online is not accepted. LanguageCert Academic: 70, minimum 60 in each component for IELTS 6.5 equivalent. Cambridge: C1 Advanced 176+ or C2 Proficiency 180+, with minimum 162 in each component. Duolingo, EF and ELLT: Not accepted. Medium of Instruction letters are generally not accepted unless specifically listed. IELTS validity: The IELTS Academic result must normally be within 2 years of the course start date. Pakistan: A 4-year Bachelor’s + Medium of Instruction letter from certain universities (including NUST, LUMS, FAST-NUCES, COMSATS, Air University and Bahria University) may be considered case by case. Key point for your counselling: NTU does accept TOEFL iBT Home Edition, unlike some other UK universities.
